Warranty Policy

Thank you for your interest in SOK Battery products and services. This Limited Warranty applies only to physical goods purchased from SOK Battery or a certified dealer.

What This Limited Warranty Covers

This Limited Warranty covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, SOK Battery will repair or replace products or product parts that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. Round-trip shipping fees are not included. This Limited Warranty is transferable.

How Problems Are Corrected

SOK Battery will repair or replace the product using new or refurbished replacement parts.

Coverage Period

Warranty periods vary by model and begin on the purchase date:

  • SK12V100, SK12V206 and SK12V280H: 7 years.
  • SK24V100: 7 years.
  • SK12V100H, SK12V206H, SK12V206PH, SK12V314PH and SK24V150PH: 7 years.
  • SK48V100N/SK48V100: 7 years in the United States; SK48V100: 10 years in Canada.
  • SK12V20A, SK24V10A and SK48V18A chargers: 1 year.

A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or one year from the replacement or repair date, whichever is longer.

What Is Not Covered

  • Conditions, malfunctions or damage not caused by defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Negligence, improper maintenance or modification; natural disasters; theft or loss.
  • Shipping, handling, gift-wrap fees or taxes.
  • Improper installation, loose terminal connections, undersized cabling, incorrect series or parallel connections, or reverse polarity.
  • Inappropriate storage; extreme temperatures; fire, freezing or water damage.
  • Collision damage.
  • Undercharging, overcharging or dirty terminal connections.
  • Products that have been opened, modified or tampered with.
  • Use outside the product's intended application, including repeated engine starting.
  • Use with an inverter/charger rated 3500 watts or greater without a manufacturer-approved surge-limiting device.
  • Products undersized for the application or used with high startup-current equipment without approved surge limiting.
  • Storage contrary to manufacturer guidelines, including low state of charge.

The customer assumes risk of loss or damage while the product is in transit to SOK Battery.

How to Obtain Service

Contact sales@sokbattery.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Return the product in its original packaging with accessories and documents to the address specified by SOK Battery.
